IWAEPL does contract farming of vegetables spread all over Karnataka. We ensure all the farmers associated with us adopt a sustainable farming system and are educated with new technologies, fertilizer applications, and growing. Initially, field preparation is done followed by soil and water analysis. IWAEPL conducts farmer training programmes and trains them on Integrated Farming, Modern farming techniques and climate change adaptation, Good Agriculture practices on soil, water and crop management.
IWAEPL uses Non-GMO seeds for cultivation and food-grade raw materials for processing. Required farming-related raw materials are supplied to the farmers and the sowing is started. Crop Management is done with modern techniques under the guidance of IWAEPL. The produce is cultivated using the best sustainable agriculture practices, water conservation by effective implementation of drip irrigation & mulching which is helping us increase our yield exponentially. Once the harvest is ready our IWAEPL staff purchases the yield and transports it to the factory for processing.
